The HEFESTO project kick off meeting has been held in Seville (Spain) on 28th January 2016. The meeting has allowed the consortium partners to further define the scope of the activities to be carried out as well as to share technical information key for the project development. Moreover, the financial and administrative issues of the project were discussed.

IDENER, as main developer of the foreseen planning engine, presented main strategies for the development and discussed with AIRBUS about the specific requirements for the platform and for the case studies to be analysed.

The HEFESTO project was approved on 23th December 2015 by the “Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitivity” through the “Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI)” (Exp. ITC-20151126) and has been co-funded by such Ministry and by “European Regional Development Fund” (FEDER / ERDF) through the programme “Operational Programme Intelligent Development 2014-2020”
