IDENER visits SSAB and OUTOKUMPU in the frame of MORSE project
From 28th to 29th November, MORSE project consortium gathered in Finland to visits the SSAB and OUTOKUMPU facilities and define the use cases and needs.
On 28th November, the consortium visited SSAB facilities in Raahe, where also the project researchers presented their potentials developments for SSAB. The visit was mostly centered on the secondary metallurgy steps. The visit to OUTOKUMPU was on 29th November, in Tornio, where also the potential contributions were discussed.
Morse’s main objective is to develop more advanced tools to improve steel quality and the management of complex processes. IDENER is contributing to the algorithms development for the tools and also with the project dissemination.
