CROCODILE project kicks off, 7-8th June, Bilbao (Spain)

Last June 7-8th, the kick-off meeting of the Crocodile project was celebrated in Tecnalia facilities (Bilbao, Spain).

This project will showcase innovative metallurgical systems based on advanced pyro-, hydro-, bio-, iono- and electrometallurgy technologies for the recovery of cobalt and the production of cobalt metal and upstream products from a wide variety of secondary and primary European resources.

The first day the participants presented its companies/institutions and part of the work to be done was presented by work package leaders. The meeting was followed by a city tour and a meeting dinner. The second day, the presentations continued, and a general discussion with the financial officer took place.

IDENER explained its main expertise and, as WP5 leader, the pilot construction activities were also presented.
