ZEOCAT-3D project kicks off in Seville!

ZEOCAT-3D project is a project funded by the H2020 programme of the European Commission. It aims at development of a new bi-functional structured catalysts, achieving for the first time a tetra-modal pore size distribution and high dispersion of metal active sites for the conversion of methane, coming from different sources as natural gas and biogas, into high value chemicals such as aromatics (benzene, naphthalene, among others) via methane de-hydro-aromatization.

The project started on 1st April 2019 and will long 42 months.

The official kick-off meeting was the past 15-16th May in Seville, hosted by the project coordinator IDENER, and counted with the presence of the project officer.

During these two days, the consortium took the opportunity to know more about the involved partners and researchers and give more details about on-going and upcoming work within the work packages. Also, the partners took the opportunity to do a guided city tour around Seville centre and enjoyed a delicious dinner at one of the most valued restaurants in Seville.
