On May 3^rd, the IDENER team participated in the third (and last) review meeting of the LIBERATE project. In this event, the project officer and two external reviewers evaluated the work done during the last reported period. The overall evaluation was positive, remarking on how the whole consortium faced the challenges related to (waste) lignin valorisation and encouraging the development of further research that allows achieving a commercial solution. On the other hand, additional explanations about the LCA, especially for the used methodology, were requested. Concerning IDENER’s work, it was remarked, during the review, the potential for the developed tools to assess the integration with renewable energy sources to be used in other electrochemical processes and, so, encouraging for further use and development of these tools.
