The Kick-off meeting of the PHOTOSINT project took place in Sevilla on the 27th and 28th of September. This exciting project coordinated by IDENER presents solutions to the challenges chemical industries are facing in integrating renewable energy sources into their processes. The project will deliver sustainable solutions to produce hydrogen and methanol as energy vectors using only sunlight as an energy source and wastewater and CO2 as feedstock.

During those days, the consortium meeting, consisting of 14 partners from 8 different countries in Europe, had the opportunity to meet together and set the basis of the initial activities of the project. In this context, the partners had the chance to discuss together and reach initial agreements about the next steps. Besides, all the consortium could enjoy the city with a guided tour and a lovely dinner in the Triana neighborhood.

From September 2023, the PHOTOSINT project will be running for 48 months. As initial activities, the project webpage and social media will be active soon, so the general public and specific stakeholders can be informed about the preliminary results of the project.
