From 27 June to 2 July 2024, IDENER.AI´s Biotechnology division held its Joint Exploitation Days at the company´s offices in Seville, bringing together team members from across Spain. This strategic event, focused on biotechnology innovation, went beyond simply reviewing ongoing EU projects, the gathering was designed to foster a deep exchange of ideas and showcase individual progress. This collaborative environment allowed the team to integrate diverse viewpoints, aiming to advance together in solving the complex challenges facing scientific progress in the field of biotechnology and industrial research.

The first day opened with a full-day meeting featuring a project-oriented workshop on developments and tools done in ongoing projects. Participants from different projects, such as REDWINE, ELOXYCHEM, BIOMAC, ESTELLA, VALUABLE and PENGUIN, shared their updates and used this space to explore synergies and new opportunities for innovation and technology transfer.

During the following days, the agenda focused on internal review meetings for each specific project. Some of which, prepared their next General Assembly meeting and planned their next steps, whilst other projects, such as BIOSYSMO, discussed their progress, refined technical work plans and aligned upcoming tasks with IDENER.AI´s contribution to European research and development initiatives.

The kick-off day of this Joint Exploitation Day was dedicated to a project-oriented workshop on division capacities and developments done in ongoing work. This workshop was specially designed to explore development across ongoing projects and prepare new collaborative proposals involving VALORISH, BIOSYSMO and SECRETED.

Overall, the Joint Exploitation Days 2024 strengthened internal collaboration within the Biotechnology division. The combination of project review meetings and workshops ensure that the knowledge generated in ongoing projects can be transferred into efficient initiatives, reinforcing IDENER.AI´s position as a key player in biotechnology innovation.
