On 17 March 2026, IDENER.AI participated in the Clustering Event on Advanced Biofuels organised by CINEA in Brussels, representing the Horizon Europe project FLEXBY. The event brought together 30 Horizon Europe projects working in the field of advanced biofuels, providing a unique platform to exchange knowledge, share progress, and explore collaboration opportunities.

Our participation centred on disseminating FLEXBY’s objectives, progress, and preliminary results through a project pitch presentation and a poster exhibition. These activities offered an opportunity to showcase the project´s innovative approach to the valorisation of biomass waste steam to produce advanced biofuels and renewable energy carriers.

Beyond the presentations, we took part in the plenary discussions and networking sessions, engaging with other EU-funded projects, research organisations, industrial stakeholders, and policy representatives. A key outcome of these interactions was the identification of potential synergies and new contacts for future collaborations and clustering activities with projects addressing complementary challenges.

The event also provided a broader overview of ongoing European initiatives in the field, enabling the exchange of experiences, best practices, and lessons learned, a valuable contribution to the EU’s shared goals on climate neutrality, circular economy, and renewable energy.
