MAGNO project took part in the workshop “Safe and Sustainable BioBased Polymers: from design to end of life in Circular Value Chains (Part I)”, held as part of the Polymers 2026 conference. The session brought together a number of Horizon Europe projects to advance the conversation on bio-based materials and the transition towards fully circular value chains.

The workshop addressed the full lifecycle of bio-based polymers, from initial design through to end-of-life management, within the framework of circular systems. It served as a key forum for exchanging knowledge and aligning strategies across European research initiatives working towards more sustainable material solutions.

Representing IDENER.AI, Dr. Alejandra Pita Milleiro presented the MAGNO project and its contributions to the field. Her presentation highlighted how data-driven approaches and circular strategies can play a decisive role in supporting the shift towards more sustainable packaging systems, reinforcing MAGNO’s commitment to innovation at the intersection of materials science and digital technologies.
