Lila Otero, Team Manager at Idener, participated in the third edition of the International Meeting on New Strategies in Bioremediation/Restoration Processes (BioRemid2023) hosted by the FHNW School of Life Sciences in Muttenz (Switzerland) on the 29th and 30th of June 2023. BioRemid2023 brought together scientists and industry professionals from across 37 countries to share the latest developments and innovations on bioremediation issues. Idener presented a poster of the project BIOSYSMO – Bioremediation systems exploiting synergies for improved removal of mixed pollutants.

As a satellite event of the conference, a special clustering workshop of 7 EU projects dedicated to bioremediation was organized by the projects BIOSYSMO, SYMBIOREM, NYMPHE, MIBIREM, GREENER, ELECTRA and EICLAR. Idener, as coordinator of the project BIOSYSMO, presented an overview of the project as well as the main expected outcomes and participated in a round table in which, together with the other coordinators, discussed about various hot topics on bioremediation.
