Last July, Santiago Massé represented our team at the field test of the MED1stMR project in Vienna. The aim of the project is to improve the training of first responders using mixed reality. IDENER’s task was to build a platform to track trainees’ performance. After the pilot test in Zurich, many improvements were made. The field test in Vienna showed that these changes worked. Everyone was in a good mood about the progress the whole consortium had shown.

Still, we found more areas for improvement. Although the test was a success, we know that the full potential of the project has not yet been exploited. To sum up, the field test in Vienna represented a substantial leap forward for the MED1stMR project. It provided a clear perspective on our achievements and laid out a path for ongoing enhancements.
