REDWINE general assembly M42 hosted in Barcelona

The M42 General Assembly of the REDWINE project was hosted in Barcelona, Spain, on October 9th and 10th, concentrating on the review of work executed in the recent period. The assembly’s agenda included in-depth discussions on progress in the construction of the project’s demonstrator and enhancements within the biorefinery section. New findings on algae cultivation using wastewater were also introduced.

The IDENER.AI team took the lead in presenting the modelling and process assessment outcomes, delineating the current status of the process and logistic models, along with the corresponding economic performance implications. Furthermore, the team initiated a dialogue on the existing challenges and potential improvements for scaling up operations.

Álvaro Cabeza Sánchez participated in person, articulating IDENER.AI’s contributions to the project, while Sofía Tarín Roldán and Ana Lara Quijano joined the assembly online, ensuring comprehensive involvement of the IDENER.AI team in the critical discussions shaping the future of the REDWINE project.
