IDENER.AI spearheads progress at MAGNO project M12 meeting in Porto

IDENER.AI team led the Magno EU Project M12 consortium meeting, held in Porto (Portugal) during the 3rd and 4th of December.

The MAGNO project aims to improve the effectiveness, sustainability, efficient use, end-of-life (reuse and recycling) of packaging and innovative business practices in the EU food systems. In these two intense days, Ignacio Fernández-Pacheco Ruiz and Lucía Gálvez del Postigo Gallego coordinated the discussions around the plastic packaging value chain, highlighting the main advances and barriers on sustainable packaging materials and manufacturing routes, as well as the environmental impacts of plastic packaging waste and the current end-of-life alternatives implemented across the industry.

Beyond the coordination of the project, IDENER.AI is leading the efforts on the digitalization of the value chain through the development of an ecosystem #digitaltwin to quantify and validate the implementation of strategies to make food packaging more sustainable and aligned with the #EU goals.
