The ONE4ALL team learns about manufacturing processes during a visit to Madama
Oliva.

The ONE4ALL project team carried out a technical site visit to the production facilities of Madama Oliva on April 14–15, 2025, with the aim of gaining an in-depth understanding of the company’s manufacturing processes, operational workflows, and production scheduling procedures.

During the visit, the IDENER team conducted an on-site assessment of the current
production environment. This evaluation provided valuable insights into Madama Oliva’s
production scheduling workflow, particularly how Excel-based planning tools interact
with the company’s ERP and MES systems. As a result, the team identified several
opportunities to enhance data integration and operational efficiency.

Among the potential improvements detected were the automation of selected product
lines, stronger integration between planning and manufacturing systems, and the
application of Decision Support System (DSS) tools to support more informed
operational decisions.

In addition, relevant technical data was collected, including material inputs, production rates, rejection rates, and operational constraints. This information could contribute to more efficient planning processes and enhanced operational decision-making.

The activities carried out during the visit align with the broader objectives of the ONE4ALL project, which aims to reinforce the resilience and flexibility of the manufacturing lines through innovative modular and reconfigurable technologies centered on humans and sustainability.

Within this framework, IDENER.AI plays a key role in the ONE4ALL project by coordinating
the development of advanced digital solutions to support more sustainable and efficient
industrial processes. Its work includes creating tools to monitor and optimize resource
consumption, assessing organizations’ digital maturity and sustainability, and defining
the requirements and specifications for digital twins and decision support systems.
Moreover, the company also develops and validates data-driven digital twins and smart distributed decision support systems, while scouting innovative architectures and open-
source protocols to build a secure, open infrastructure. In addition, Idener contributes to interoperability tools and platform interfaces, deploys IIoT devices for real-time
monitoring, and integrates collaborative robots (cobots) with digital tools to strengthen the connection between physical operations and data-driven decision making.
