Athens welcomed the KNOWSKITE-X consortium on 27-28 January for the Month 36 General Assembly at Demokritos. The meeting gathered all partners to review progress across Work Packages and sharpen the focus for the project´s final stretch.
During the Assembly, the consortium was able to discuss project coordination, machine learning, in-depth analytic work, data harmonisation, exploitation strategies, and dissemination.
IDENER.AI had the opportunity to visit NCSRD facilities, strengthen collaboration with partners, and talk through their ongoing activities. Regarding WP2, IDENER.AI contributed to the presentation of current work related to multi-scale modelling, with a specific focus on large-scale continuum electrochemical modelling from Task 2.3. As for WP4, who IDENER.AI leads, the overall progress of the WP was presented, including data interoperability strategies, the implementation of FAIR data principles, the development of MODA workflows, and the coordination of the Data Management Plan across the consortium.
On the other hand, minor derivations were identified, such as the need to reinforce harmonisation activities. Nevertheless, these were assessed as controlled and without impact on the overall project objectives, which confirms that the consortium is well positioned to deliver the expected outcomes and ensure exploitation-ready results. Overall, the meeting confirmed the positive progress of the KNOWSKITE-X project, with consolidated scientific and methodological results achieved at M36, particularly in the establishment of multi-scale modelling frameworks and interoperable data workflows.
