ANALYST consortium dosts first hybrid meeting in Oslo, Norway

The event was the first semestral meeting of the ANALYST project, which is being coordinated by the HOLOSS company. The main purpose of the event was to discuss the application of the Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD) methodology to the value chain of three different PVC types, with a particular focus on their use within the automotive industry.

During the meeting, there were significant updates and developments shared. The main role of IDENER is to create a part of a virtual tool, known as the digital multi-criteria decision-making support (DMDMS) tool. This tool is intended to align with the SSbD methodology and aims to assist stakeholders in making informed decisions.

From the discussions and the collective input of the participants, some valuable conclusions were reached. These included the recognition of the potential impact that applying the SSbD methodology could have on enhancing sustainability and safety throughout the PVC value chain, which could, in turn, benefit the automotive sector by providing more eco-friendly and secure materials.

In terms of specific information about the project, the ANALYST project evidently stands as an innovative approach to integrating sustainability into material development, which could set a precedent for future industry practices.

Francisco López Guirao was actively involved in the discussions and shared his insights on the potential benefits and challenges of implementing the SSbD methodology. He also provided feedback on the proposed features of the DMDMS tool and how it could be optimized for user experience and effectiveness.
