IDENER.AI participates in CIDIQ’s “Encuentro Empresa - Estudiante” on sustainability in chemical engineering

IDENER.AI participated in the "Encuentro Empresa - Estudiante" as part of the VII CIDIQ (Congress of Innovation in Chemical Engineering) held at the Engineering school in Seville. The event featured a dialogue on "The Industrial Transformation Towards Sustainability – Challenges and Opportunities for Chemical Engineering," where IDENER’s Engineer, Ana Lara, joined representatives from CTA and Edifesa in discussing the key role of chemical engineering in achieving sustainability in the industry.

IDENER.AI's role in this session was to share insights on how the company approaches sustainability challenges in chemical engineering, offering expertise in circular economy practices and sustainable engineering solutions. The event aimed to highlight the opportunities available to chemical engineers in creating more sustainable products and processes, while also focusing on the recent advances in the field that facilitate the adoption of more sustainable industrial practices.

During the session, Ana discussed the challenges faced by chemical engineers in the transition to a more sustainable industry, as well as the opportunities arising from the circular economy. IDENER also contributed to the discussion on how engineers can prepare to seize these opportunities and the technological advancements that are driving sustainability in chemical engineering.

This dialogue served as a platform for IDENER to present its ongoing efforts in sustainability and innovation to students from both undergraduate and master’s programs in chemical engineering. It also provided a valuable opportunity for IDENER to network and engage with the future leaders in the field of chemical engineering.

The dialogue included contributions from the following participants:

  • Ana Lara (Project Coordinator at IDENER)
  • Juan Luis Sanz (Director of Projects at Edifesa)
  • David Paez (Director of Innovation at CTA)
